Quick Reference FAQs

What is a Graphic Wrap?

Vehicle wraps or graphics are designs (large or small) printed on vinyl film and applied to automotive painted surfaces. The film can be a solid color, or display a variety of any designs, on a variety of vehicles, and can be removed * if needed.

Why not just paint the vehicle instead of wrapping it?

Vehicle wraps are semi-permanent and can be removed, making it convenient if you would like to restyle your vehicle many times.

How are wraps installed?

Wraps are installed by a certified local Wrapmate Pro, who is a vetted installer that specializes in vinyl wrap production and installation. They will work with Wrapmate and your selected participating local VW Dealer to complete your installation and purchase.

How do I care for my wrap?

Wash whenever the car appears dirty. Contaminants allowed to remain on the graphic or vinyl film may be more difficult to remove during cleaning. Rinse off as much dirt and grit as possible with a spray of water. For spot cleaning (bird droppings, tar, etc.), use a wet, non-abrasive automotive detergent and a soft, clean cloth or sponge. Rinse thoroughly with clean water. To reduce water spotting, immediately use a silicone squeegee or automotive drying cloth to remove water and finish with a clean microfiber cloth.
